The Prince's Rainforest Project

The Prince's Rainforests Project (PRP) was set up in 2007 by HRH The Prince of Wales to promote awareness of the urgent need to take action against tropical deforestation, a major contributor to climate change.

Their work falls into two main areas: A proposal for an Emergency Package of funding for rainforest nations and a global awareness campaign.

The PRP has carried out a number of other activities and research studies.
